This course has been replaced by a free comprehensive braille literacy course on the UEBOnline website, which you need to register for if you dont yet have an account- do this via the link at the bottom of this section.

There are 9 topics in total to be completed for the Foundations of Braille training program. The content is drawn from relevant research in the field of braille literacy.

Each topic consists of one or more video-recorded presentations followed by a topic quiz of 10 true/false questions. You must achieve a score of at least 7 correct answers before you can proceed to the next topic.

All 9 topics must be completed to be eligible for a certificate of successful completion, which can be purchased for a small fee.
