NextSense has been awarded two industry accolades, recognising how we put our people first. The two Excellence Awardee accolades were awarded by the Australian HR Awards 2022, meaning NextSense has been shortlisted in two categories for these prestigious and coveted awards:

• Employer of Choice (Public Sector & NFP) and
• Australian HR Team of the Year (≤ 1000).

The annual Australian HR Awards is the leading independent awards event in the HR profession. They showcase the country’s most outstanding HR teams, leaders and employers for their strategies, achievements and programs over the past year, and are open to organisations right across Australia.

The awarding of these two excellence awards recognise the mammoth change initiatives which were delivered over the last 18 months—our COVID-19 response; our rebrand; our focus on our people and wellbeing; and the enormity of our NextSense Enterprise Agreement—all achieved during a pandemic.

As Excellence Awardees (reserved for only the few shortlisted organisations)—NextSense receive national recognition as a NFP Employer of Choice for 2022 and can publicly promote NextSense being an awardee. This will be of enormous benefit to NextSense in the competitive jobs market and sets us apart as a great place to work.

The Excellence Awardee accolade in the Australian HR Team of the Year award is also an enormous achievement for the NextSense People and Culture team of professionals, who have worked extremely hard, applied so much skill and expertise. The team has truly advanced the NextSense strategy to be ‘people first’.

These awards are a true reflection of how NextSense has come together, with driven and determined leadership, to deliver on our strategy and advance towards 'what’s next' for NextSense.

We are immensely proud of this achievement. The work our staff do every day to take NextSense, our clients, and community into this new era is enormous. Being recognised externally for these efforts is indeed a wonderful way to stop and reflect on the enormity of what the organisation has achieved in just 18 months.
