Did you know NextSense has an amazing fundraising community called Be Bold, which anyone can join?

Our Be Bold community is made up of incredible people who help raise awareness and funds so people who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind or have low vision can access the vital services they need to live life to the fullest every day.

Whether you’re a NextSense client, a supporter or you have friends or family with hearing or vision loss, you can create a fundraiser to help children and adults across Australia reach their full potential.

You can Be active, Be daring, Be a host, Be bold and celebrate, Be bold your way, or Be bold for a loved one—the choice is yours. You might even be inspired by our options, and create your own fundraising idea.

Whichever way you choose to get involved and fundraise for NextSense, your support means people who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind or have low vision can access the services they need to reach their full potential.

Be bold and celebrate—Nerija’s birthday

Lina and Luke chose to ‘Be bold and celebrate’ daughter Nerija’s second birthday at home with a big party.

‘We asked people to donate to NextSense in lieu of a gift,’ they said.

‘We chose to support NextSense because they supported us and many other children. With the help of NextSense, Nerija is learning well, making friends and enjoying life!’

Vera’s 'Be a host' lunch

Vera chose to ‘Be a host’ for a group of pensioners at their local church, and enjoy a delicious traditional Serbian meal and a chat.

‘I wanted to give back to the amazing organisation that has helped enhance lives of many people just like my granddaughter who has profound hearing loss,’ Vera said.

The special meal and get-together raised $500 to support people with hearing or vision loss at NextSense.
